Workshops

A workshop, for me, is more than a gathering – it’s a sacred space, a living ritual, where we come together to connect, create, and transform.

The essence of it is the circle – holding a wisdom of relating we so desperately need today, teaching us about presence and deep listening – to ourselves, to each other, and to the silence in between. In this space, we are both teachers and students, learning not only from the knowledge we bring but also from the shared experience of being together.

At the heart of my workshops is the voice – our most authentic and powerful instrument of expression.

Through vocal exercises, breathwork, movement, and spontaneous improvisation, we open the gates of creativity. Creating a safe space together allows us all to share more of ourselves, to dare and go beyond our limitations into deeper parts of ourselves – places of darkness and light.

Each workshop is an opportunity to allow more vulnerability and authenticity, to feel and express without the need to be something else than ourselves. I call this space – Prayer – where the heart, the mind, and the body are aligned and we are nourished by the natural force of life and by the connection we create with each other.

There are different models of workshop that can be created based on the needs and the length (from 2 hours to a full weekend).

Here are a few examples:

1 - Listening and Expression

The first part of the workshop is dedicated to deep listening. With our eyes covered, we will experience and explore how sounds affect us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We will learn how to harness the power of listening to deepen our connection with ourselves and our surroundings.

In the second part, emerging from the delicate space of attentive listening, we will discover our voice as if for the first time, expressing it gently and freely from the depths of our bodies and discovering the qualities it holds for connection, healing, and balance.

A journey of sound as a gateway to the senses, emotions, and self-discovery.

2 - Expression and Creation

In this workshop, we will explore the voice, the body, and our words as tools of free and authentic expression. Through breath, movement, voice, and writing exercises we will explore spontaneous creation, emerging from the present moment. We will also work with the challenges that arise – fear of exposure, fear of failure, and the wish to control the outcome. Through individual and group improvisation, we learn how to break through internal barriers and to allow ourselves a fuller expression.

A journey of free expression as a tool for connection, liberation, and shared creativity.

3 - Singing and Prayer as Ritual

In this workshop, we will dive into the power of singing and prayer within a ritual structure with four stages:  Intention, Prayer, Healing, and Gratitude.

By setting an intention, we create both a personal and collective space that defines the ritual. Prayer then becomes the expression of that intention, carrying the power to initiate both internal and external transformation. Healing is the answer to our prayer, as we observe what is unfolding within and around us. Through this awareness, we amplify the process. Gratitude serves as confirmation that the prayer has been answered, that the intention we set has manifested, moving us from receiving to giving.

A living, breathing ritual, where the voice becomes a bridge between the inner and outer worlds, between the individual and the collective, and between the heart and prayer.

Some of the tools we use in the workshops:

Vocal Exercises

Individual, paired, and group vocal practices to explore the abilities of our voices.

Breath Exercises

Calming the mind, energizing the body, and supporting our ability to use our voices in the best way.

Improvisation

practicing and playing with our voices and bodies in a spontaneous creativity.

Singing Together

Forming a group choir, harmonizing, and singing improvised phrases to create a collective and unified sound.

Rhythm and Movement

Incorporating rhythm and body movements, supporting a free-flowing expression.

Mirroring Exercises

Reflecting and listening deeply to others’ voices, words, and emotions through guided exercises. Creating a field of connection and mutual understanding.

Prayer

Using words to express what is alive within you, connecting more deeply to your inner self and the great mystery.

Group Sharing

Opportunities to share your personal experiences, thoughts, and prayers within the group, fostering a supportive community space.

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.”
